Badan Tanmiah Harta Majlis Ugama Islam (BTHMUI) held an event to show appreciation to its former chairmen and members of the Board of Directors as well as officers and staff from BTHMUI and Badan Tanmiah Petrol Station and Trading yesterday.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman as President of Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) was the guest of honour at the event held at An-Naura Hall, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, members of BTHMUI Board of Directors, officers and staff of MUIB and BTHMUI as well as officers and staff of BTHMUI subsidiary Badan Tanmiah Petrol Station and Trading were also present.
The event began with a speech by BTHMUI Director Haji Noor Hadi bin Haji Noor Kaseh who shared the brief history of BTHMUI.
Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin congratulated BTHMUI for its success and expressed appreciation to the event’s awardees for their contributions.
The event concluded with presentation of souvenirs and certificates of appreciation to former chairmen and members of the Board of Directors as well as officers and staff from BTHMUI and long service employees of Badan Tanmiah Petrol Station and Trading.
