A jamboree has been scheduled to be held at Bukit Bendera near the Tutong District Sports Complex and Tutong District Scout Association headquarters from December 2 to 7.
A second meeting of the executive committee for the upcoming fifth National Jamboree of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Federation (PPNBD) convened yesterday at the residence of the Tutong District Office where it focused on updating the status of actions by involved agencies and coordinating the schedules for the opening and closing ceremonies.
The meeting was presided over by PPNBD President Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas.
Also in attendance were Chief Commissioner of PPNBD Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali who is also Co-Chairman of the fifth National Jamboree Working Committee and representatives from the Tutong District Office.
Throughout the jamboree, there will be exhibitions hosted by government, private and non-government agencies to further enrich the experience of the event. – Azlan Othman
