Belait Arabic School students took part in an environmental conservation effort with a clean-up activity around the government barracks and flats along Jalan Singa Menteri, Kampong Mumong in the Belait District recently.
Acting Village Chief of Kampong Mumong ‘A’ and ‘B’, Haji Mohd Yusof bin Haji Dulamin led the clean-up alongside 140 school staff, students and local residents. The project aimed to instil discipline, foster cleanliness and safety, and promote a sense of caring for the environment among the students. The campaign also aligns with the objectives of Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising solid waste management (SDG 12) and environmental preservation (SDG 11). – Azlan Othman
