The Department of Scholarship Management yesterday held the closing ceremony of Jati Diri ‘Itqan’ programme at Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPRSB IHS), Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
The programme ran from June 10 until yesterday and was attended by 32 recipients of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Government Overseas Scholarship Scheme under UBD’s Twinning Programme.
The students will be pursuing medical and dental courses for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The programme incorporated briefings on scholarship regulations, motivational lectures, team building activities, stress/emotional management, physical activities, human resources from the Ministry of Health, and sharing sessions with junior doctors who have completed their studies as part of the students’ preparations before their studies abroad.
Programme chairperson and Acting Director of Scholarship Management Rosimah Sumaimah binti Haji Matassim was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony. She also who presented certificates of participation to the students. – Azlan Othman
