MINI Asia and MINI Brunei launched the special edition MINI 3 Door-MINI Resolute Edition yesterday that emphasised on individuality, traditional style, self-confidence and charisma.
The launch at the MINI Brunei’s showroom in Beribi Industrial area coincided with the Chinese New Year celebration and the grand lucky draw of a brand new Macbook Pro for 10 customers who purchased a new MINI Anniversary Edition.
MINI combines a thrilling drive with an unconventional appeal that is attractive to different target groups, with its hallmark design and modern premium character.

The MINI 3-door with the classic MINI body concept and extended functionality stands for experience-oriented urban mobility in the 21st Century.
The MINI Resolute Edition is offered exclusively in Brunei as the Cooper S 3-door.
The exclusive design and equipment features of the Resolute Edition reinforce these hallmark characteristics of the MINI Models combined with modern high quality design accentuations.
The exterior design include a traditional style colour scheme and an elimination of chrome elements which will be a matter of course on future MINI models for sustainability. The Rebel Green exterior signals pure sportiness, previously only available for the top athlete MINI John Cooper Works.
The paintwork is combined with a Pepper white roof finish and matching white exterior mirror caps.
Signature design features are finished in Resolute Bronze cover the headlights surround, radiator grille and rear lights, side scuttles on the front side panels, handles of the doors and tailgate, air intakes in the front apron and fuel filler cap.
Both the bonnet stripes and the door sill panels of the MINI Resolute Edition features a pattern of parallel lines with a colour gradient between a light and a dark shade of gold as well as the lettering ‘RESOLUTE’.
Its interior surfaces are created especially for the Resolute Edition, emphasising on the cars’ premium style. Parallel and evenly curved lines in a light shade of gold form a dignified pinstripe pattern on the black background of the surfaces. The Classic Sporty flair of the colour and materials is combined with advanced digital technology.
The latest generation of the MINI operating system optimised the quick and intuitive control of vehicle functions, audio programme, communication, navigation and apps.
Live widgets on the 8.8-inch touch screen display of the central instrument are used to activate the desired menu item which can be selected with a swiping motion.
The driving assistance package help increases safety on the road featuring a collision and pedestrian warning system with city braking function to avoid dangerous situation, especially in city traffic.
The package also includes park assistance control, sensors at the rear, the rear view camera and cruise control.
Meanwhile, the lane departure warning helps the driver to stay safely on the chosen course at the speed of between 70 and 210 kilometres per hour.

Meanwhile, Haji Shamri bin Haji Mahali won himself a Macbook Pro during the grand draw.
Present to receive the prize from QAF Auto General Manager Alisa Khoo was Haji Shamri’s spouse, Hajah Basza Surya’aini binti Haji Basri.
“I didn’t expect to win the Macbook Pro. I was representing my husband. When we purchased the car, my husband said that he wants to win the laptop,” said Hajah Basza Surya’aini.
