PTAS Aker Solutions and PTAS Group Sdn Bhd partnered with the Forestry Department and SPHIERE Sdn Bhd for a sapling planting campaign at Sungai Penyatang Forest Reserve in Tutong District on November 23.
Some 70 saplings from three species – baru-baru, panaga laut and RU laut – were planted.
PTAS Aker Solutions and PTAS Group will monitor the saplings for one year to ensure all the saplings have an 85-per-cent chance of survival. They will also be maintained by SPHIERE and the Forestry Department.
The event proceeded with an activity to raise awareness on the environmental campaign and a history of SPHIERE and their environmental targets towards realising Brunei Vision 2035.
