Police personnel manning a roadblock issued four compound fines to motorists on Friday, for violations of the Road Traffic Act (Chapter 68).
Personnel from the Belait Police District Headquarters and Panaga Police Station screened 70 vehicles during the roadblock along the Kampong Mumong road, with Sergeant Major 2978 Hajah Millie leading the team.
Compound fines were issued for possessing expired driver’s licences and worn out tyres.
The Royal Brunei Police Force reminded motorists to adhere to the road rules to ensure the safety of all road users.
