Three overhead bridges are planned in the 11th National Development Plan (RKN 11) for pedestrian and schoolchildren’s safety.
One bridge is at The Airport Mall area, often requested by the public, as well as one at Seri Mulia Sarjana School in Kampong Jangsak.
This was revealed by Minister of Development Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid during the 19th Legislative Council (LegCo) session following a query by LegCo member Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi bin Haji Osman.
The minister also acknowledged that some overhead bridges are rarely used and assessment will be carried out.
