The Kampong Lambak ‘B’ Village Consultative Council (MPK) held a walkathon on Sunday to strengthen ties among the residents.
The walkathon was officiated by Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL) President Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.
The event began at the residence of Kampong Lambak ‘B’ Village Head Pengiran Haji Jofri bin Pengiran Haji Zaidi with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat followed with the singing of the national anthem.
Sixty residents and PERBEKAL members joined the 1.5-kilometre walkathon around the village.
The event concluded with a lucky draw at the residence of the village head. – Lyna Mohamad
