Some 18 Tanjung Kindana Religious School Primary 6 students held a Khatam Al-Quran at Kampong Sungai Bunga Mosque.
The religious gathering was an effort to answer the government’s aspiration to produce students who are Al-Quran literate in addition to encouraging the reading of Al-Quran as a culture and daily practice.
Head of Public Relations Islamic Studies Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Izwandy bin Haji Hamdan was the chief guest.
The ceremony was highlighted with Takhtim, Doa Khatam, Dikir Asyaraqal and presentation of khatam certificates to the students. – Azlan Othman
