Registration for participating in the seventh edition of the Brunei December Festival this year is open to local and international event management companies.
The annual festival under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. It aims to promote domestic tourism by encouraging locals to travel and spend within the Sultanate, generate activities and income for the economy, provide employment to local youth, host events to boost MSMEs and help attract foreign tourists to visit the country, the Tourism Development Department said.
Six categories are open for event management companies to host events: Islamic; culinary and food; art and culture; sport; recreation and adventure; shopping; and digital technology and information and communications technology. – James Kon
