ANN/THE KOREA HERALD – K-pop powerhouse Stray Kids have dropped a teaser for their upcoming digital single, “Mixtape: dominATE”, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. The teaser video was unveiled by JYP Entertainment on March 18, building anticipation for the full release.
In the third trailer for the mixtape, Bang Chan and Hyunjin offer a preview of their duo track, “Escape”, a song that delves into the struggles of anxiety-ridden youth.
The video clip captures a striking contrast—moments of carefree running and laughter intertwined with a powerful visual metaphor, as each of them is shackled by a single chain, symbolising restraint and inner turmoil.
The alternative R&B track marks a long-awaited reunion for the duo, who last collaborated three and a half years ago on “Red Lights”, a standout track from Stray Kids’ second full-length album, Noeasy.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the mixtape is set for release on March 21, coinciding with the group’s seventh debut anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, the eight-member group will hold a special livestream on March 25 before resuming their “Dominate” world tour. Their next stop? Santiago on March 27, where they will showcase tracks from the mixtape live on stage.
With excitement building, “Mixtape: dominATE” is poised to be another bold chapter in Stray Kids’ ever-evolving musical journey.
