Brunei Darussalam will observe the first day of Ramadhan on Sunday, 1st Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah, corresponding to March 2 2025.
The announcement was broadcast on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) this evening following the failure to sight the hilal (crescent) at vantage points set up across the country.
As Muslims in the country begin fasting on Sunday, Sunnat Tarawikh prayers, Sunnat Witir and Tedarus Al-Quran will begin Saturday evening.
