Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman received an Islamic book collection from the Embassy of Qatar in Brunei Darussalam in a ceremony at the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Dhiyafah Room yesterday.
The minister received a courtesy call from Ambassador of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam Jassim Ali Abdullah Al Obaidli, who later presented the book collection.
The contribution served as a show of friendship and cultural exchange between the two countries.
Brunei and Qatar have several collaborative agreements and memoranda of understanding strengthening cooperation. – Rokiah Mahmud
