Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam (Pusat Ehsan), the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) and the Society for the Management of Autism Related Issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei each received BND1,000 from Burger King Brunei yesterday.
The donation was part of Sinofood Express’ corporate social responsibility programme since 2015, with donation boxes allocated at every outlet and proceeds collected and donated to the three selected organisations. Following this, a presentation ceremony to hand over the donation was held at the Burger King outlet in City Square.
On hand to present the cheque from Burger King was Pengiran Maria binti Pengiran Haji Kiply.
Representing YASKA to receive the donation was its Vice-President Tsara’ Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen, Pusat Ehsan was represented by its Head of Administration Nurul Huda binti Haji Muhin, and SMARTER Brunei was represented by its President Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang.
