The Information Department organised the ‘Our Monarch, Appreciating the National Flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’ briefing programme in schools in the Brunei-Muara and Tutong districts on Saturday.
Information Officer Mufidah binti Abdul Hakim delivered the talk to 168 Year 7 students of
Menglait Secondary School in Gadong conducted by the Nationhood Unit, Strategic Communications Division.
Meanwhile, in the Tutong District, 96 Year 7 students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Secondary School attended the briefing by Acting Head of the Tutong District Branch Mohd Azyzul Azman @ Rosman bin Yakub conducted by the Tutong District Information Branch, District Branch Division.
The talk held at the school’s multipurpose hall, focused on the monarch, the correct procedure in hoisting the national flag and the history of the national anthem of Brunei Darussalam.
