Radio Television Brunei (RTB) organised the Jalinan Kasih project to reach out to families in need of assistance in the Belait District yesterday.
RTB Deputy Director of Operational Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Kifli led the group to hand over food necessities and cash to five families at their residences in the Belait District.
The agency worked with each district branch, Mukim Penghulu and the village head to ensure that the donations go towards those in need, ahead of the upcoming Ramadhan month.
Meanwhile, a similar Jalinan Kasih was also held in the Tutong District yesterday, with the project slated to continue today in the Brunei-Muara District and Temburong District. – Daniel Lim
