Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs visited Beijing, the People’s Republic of China from 10 to 13 October 2024 to attend the China International Friendship Conference and Commemorative Events marking the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries
(CPAFFC), at the invitation of the President of the CPAFFC Yang Wanming.
On 11 October 2024, Her Royal Highness joined other foreign dignitaries attending the China International Friendship Conference for a meeting with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, held at the Great Hall of the People.
During the meeting, President Xi Jinping in his speech underscored the importance of people-to-people diplomacy in creating a shared community for mankind.
In the afternoon, Her Royal Highness attended the China International Friendship Conference where Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng, President of the CPAFFC Yang Wanming; and several foreign dignitaries including Her Royal Highness delivered their remarks.
Later in the evening, Her Royal Highness attended a welcoming dinner hosted by Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi. Both events were held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.
On 12 October 2024, President of the China – ASEAN Association Madame Gu Xiulian, hosted Her Royal Highness to lunch at the Grand Hotel Beijing.
During the visit to Beijing, Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
