A haul of cosmetic, beauty and health products and food believed to be undeclared items were seized by Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel from a vehicle at Jalan Bokok area on Saturday.
Bangar Police Station personnel found the vehicle exiting from Jalan Rataie in the Temburong District, according to the RBPF.
A police patrol was contacted and the vehicle was found abandoned at barrack housing. An initial check on the vehicle led to the discovery of boxes in the rear passenger seat.
The vehicle and items were brought to the Bangar Police Station.
All the seized items were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department. The RBPF said it will continue to work with law enforcement agencies to curb criminal activities and smuggling from the border.
