The Information Department through the Tutong District Information branch held a Personal Contact programme for Kampong Danau in the Tutong District at its community hall on Tuesday.
The programme served as an effort to convey information on current issues and government policies, while receiving feedback from government agencies.
Head of the District Division Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar led the delegation.
Officers from the Department of Drainage and Sewerage Division, Department of Electrical Services, Tutong Religious Affairs Department, USMS Sdn Bhd and the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) were also present.
The programme aims to improve relations between the government and the people by providing information and managing community programmes that can contribute to the development and progress of mukims and villages.
The programme continued with a dialogue on issues raised by the villagers relating to infrastructure and public facilities. – Lyna Mohamad
