Brunei Darussalam’s para athlete Danial Hakim secured a silver in the 100-metre (m) freestyle S7 category of the World Abilitysport Games Thailand at the Aquatic Centre – 80th Birthday Stadium Nakhon Ratchsima, Thailand.
Under the Paralympic Council Brunei Darussalam (PCBD), Brunei is represented by a delegation of five comprising a manager, two coaches and two para athletes in swimming and cycling.
The tournament, started recently, will see more swimming events to be competed, including the 50m freestyle S7, 50m breaststroke SB6 and 50m backstroke S7.
Hamizan Samsudin will continue his track events in cycling in the C2 category at the Velodrome (333m), 80th Birthday Stadium.
