The Cambodian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam handed over 200 packed meals to the frontliners at the Indoor Stadium Vaccination Centre yesterday.
The meal comprised deep fried chicken with lemongrass and banana tapioca porridge, prepared by Simpur Herbal Café of Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
On hand to present the food packs chosen from the cookbook The Taste of Angkor was Ambassador of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam Hok Sophea to lead volunteer coordinator Arifien bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Rosli.
The initiative was the second of its kind organised to support the nation’s vaccination drive and promote the Cambodian culture and economic diplomacy.
