Over 100 attend Da’ie guidance talk

More than 100 participants from the Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT), Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Ministry of Defence, Mosque Affairs Department and Islamic Syiar attended the 65th Da’ie Guidance Talk organised by the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) at its Conference Hall yesterday.

PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour at the event conducted by the Dakwah Propagation Division.

Religious officer from the RBAF Religious Directorate Major Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid facilitated the event which began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of souvenir to the facilitator.

A roundtable and question and answer sessions were also carried out at the end of the event.

Lecturers and assistant lecturers from Religious Teachers Universiti College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) as well as Da’ie from both government and private, certified Da’ie of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council and PDI officers and staff participated in the event.

The event aimed to align the content of religious talks to ensure the issues of topics by speakers are consistent and relevant with the times. – Lyna Mohamad
