October release: Honda introduces N-Van e:

TOKYO (ANN/THE YOMIURI SHIMBUN) – Honda Motor Co announced on Thursday that it will launch a new electric commercial mini vehicle, the N-Van e:, in Japan on October 10.

The Japanese automaker has designated the N-Van e: as its flagship model for the domestic electric vehicle market, where Nissan Motor Co’s Sakura mini vehicle currently holds around 40 per cent of the market share.

The N-Van e: offers a range of approximately 245 kilometres on a single charge and is priced starting at JPY2.43 million. This model is an evolution of the N-Van commercial mini vehicle, which debuted in 2018.

A Honda representative stated that the new model will enable the company to “lead a growing EV market with rising demand for robust commercial vehicles.”
