Preserving a sound mind through spiritual migration can lead to a prosperous society. It is a transformation of the heart, mind and soul towards righteousness, compassion, and devotion to Allah the Almighty.
This was said by Religious Development Officer Md Isham bin Haji Ismail from the Islamic Da’wah Centre during a talk on ‘Preserving Mind, Prosperous Society’ organised by Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) at the BMC Surau yesterday to mark the new year Hijrah.
“The new year signifies a time for reflection and spiritual renewal for Muslims around the world,” he said.
“The Hijrah, or migration, of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from Makkah to Madinah offers timeless lessons for Muslims, inspiring personal and spiritual growth.”
The event aimed to support the spiritual and personal growth of its workforce, contributing to the overall well-being and prosperity of the community.
