Urban Market convenience store opened its door for business at a launch ceremony yesterday.
Located at the newly-developed commercial area of Sunway Centre, Urban Market was officially launched by Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Kang Wen, Brunei-China Belt and Road Promotion Association President Jackson Ting, Brunei Chinese Enterprises Association Chairman Li Feng, Brunei Darussalam Hokkian Association Chairman Fang Yanhe and owners Wong Ka Min and Connie Lu Qiuping in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Prominent figures in the local Chinese community as well as representatives from the Brunei Chinese Enterprises Association also attended.
The supermarket also offers free membership application.
From now until March 31, those who spend over BND20 will receive local green vegetables.
One hundred packets of local vegetables will be given away daily.
