QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, the importer of MINI vehicles in Brunei Darussalam, celebrated a milestone yesterday with the launch of MINI’s very first destination charging point located at Laksamana College of Business (LCB) annex building.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications Ir Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof was the guest of honour.
QAF Auto General Manager Alisa Khoo, MINI Brunei Sales Manager Felda Wong along with LCB Director Haji Suhaimei bin Haji Besar and LCB Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Principal Dr S Sivarajah were also present.
The launch marks an important step forward in MINI Brunei’s mission to provide comprehensive and convenient charging solutions for MINI electric vehicle (EV) owners across the country.
The collaboration emphasises the commitment in expanding the EV charging network; ensuring sustainable mobility is both accessible and effortless in everyday life.
Alisa Khoo said, “This cooperation marks the first MINI Destination Charger in the country and forges a solid foundation for electric mobility that enables us to further drive the adaptation of electric mobility in Brunei.”
Meanwhile Dr Sivarajah said, “This project was made possible with our strong collaboration with QAF Auto.
“This partnership is a testament to that. By introducing the EV charging facility, we support the growing implementation of EV and highlight our commitment to sustainable energy solution.” – James Kon
