The Board of Hospital Visitors for the 2023-2025 session received letters of appointments during a ceremony at the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin presented letters of appointment. He noted that the board is part of efforts in continuous improvement of hospital services, including patient satisfaction and clinical results and safety.
“These board members will support the nation’s vision to make every hospital a patient friendly, conducive and professional environment while portraying Malay Islamic Monarchy principles.”
Members of the new board comprises senior government officers, representatives from the private sector, grassroots leaders, non-governmental organisation representatives and business representatives.
The board has nine members for Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, seven for Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, six for Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital and four for Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Hospital. – Lyna Mohamad
