NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, an Inchcape company, continues to solidify its presence in the local automobile market with the official opening of its new Toyota showroom and Aftersales facilities yesterday.
Located in Beribi, it features a fully upgraded, world-class Toyota showroom which has a 12-cars capacity, enabling NBT Brunei to display and offer test drive for the latest vehicle models.
Customers will also enjoy dedicated service when receiving their new vehicles at the new Toyota delivery suite.
In 2025, customers can look forward to enjoying the customer lounge during car servicing visits, along with access to aftersales services and purchase of genuine Toyota parts.
The event’s highlight was the ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Toyota Motor Asia Executive Vice President Kazunari Iguchi, Inchcape South Asia and Pacific Managing Director Alex Hammet and NBT Brunei Managing Director Haji Ahmad Omar bin Pehin Dato Haji Husin.
The NBT Brunei managing director, in his welcoming remark, said, “We have expanded our Toyota offerings, brought in new models and continued to provide our customers with exceptional service. Every step of the way, we’ve kept our eyes on our mission: to deliver quality vehicles and a seamless buying experience, ensuring that every customer leaves our showroom with not just a car, but with a sense of pride and satisfaction. This is NBT Brunei’s commitment to Toyota.”
He added “This day also marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and collaboration. It’s not just the opening of a showroom – it’s a symbol of the growth and success we’ve achieved over the 57 years of partnership with Toyota.”
He also said, “We celebrated many shared successes, including the 43 consecutive years of Market leadership and in the Toyota world, we call it the Triple Crown. Today, NBT Brunei with Toyota is the trusted brand name with all residents of Brunei. We grew bigger and stronger through the years with the unwavering support and commitment from Toyota.”
The NBT Brunei managing director also presented a memento to Fujitrans Managing Director Yoshifumi Hirata and also exchanged mementos with Kazunari Iguchi, Toyofuji Shipping Singapore Managing Director Edward Tan and Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific General Manager Premmit Singh.
As part of its commitment to sustainable mobility through the Friends of the Earth programme, the new site is fully outfitted with solar lighting throughout its compound. It demonstrates Inchcape’s commitment to continual upgrading to facilities and technology to deliver best-in-class vehicle ownership journey.
The facilities is NBT Brunei’s third location, replacing the Toyota showroom at Jalan Tutong, Bunut which has ceased its operations.
NBT Brunei is a trusted brand name with the residents of Brunei since it started operations in 1957. From 1967, NBT Brunei became an Inchcape company and started to exclusively distribute Toyota vehicles, and later added Lexus to its range of mobility options in 1993.
