The national tennis team, comprising eight of the nation’s top male and female athletes left for Bangkok, Thailand to attend an intensive training camp at the Paradorn International Tennis Academy.
The preparation, supported by Brunei Legends Tennis, Niaga Compliance and the Brunei Darussalam Tennis Association (BDTA), and friends of the tennis community marks the final stage of training as the team prepares for the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup in Bahrain, scheduled to take place from November 20 to 30.
The Brunei team, driven by ambition and a strong sense of national pride, has been rigorously training for the past three months.
The Thailand-based camp will see the players undergo a high-performance training programme tailored by Paradorn International Academy’s elite coaching staff.
The programme is designed to push the team to new heights, focusing on technical proficiency, physical conditioning and mental toughness. – Fadhil Yunus
