The Brunei Darussalam Futsal National team on Friday received an official send-off at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Berakas as they prepare to depart for the ASEAN Futsal Championship 2024 in Thailand.
Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail was present receiving the jerseys from Pengiran Muhammad Amirul Adli Hakiim bin Pengiran Ramlee Noorsah of SBD Brunei. The uniforms will represent Brunei’s colours on the international stage as the team faces off against top competitors in Group A, which includes Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Timor-Leste, and Brunei.
The Brunei contingent is set to depart on October 31, with their first match scheduled against Thailand on November 2.
The championship, hosted in Thailand, promises high-stakes competition as Brunei’s futsal team seeks to make its mark in the ASEAN region. – Fadley Faisal
