The second batch of the Brunei Darussalam national contingent left the country to take part in the 11th BIMPNT-EAGA Friendship Games 2024 in Puerto Princesa, Philippines from December 1 to 5. The contingent comprises 11 members including pencak silat athletes accompanied by head coach as well as a physiotherapist and manager.
Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan bid the contingent farewell and provided words of wisdom.
Philippines Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Marian Jocelyn R Tirol-Ignacio was also present during the departure.
The third batch will leave for the Philippines today. – Fadhil Yunus
