Patience and gratitude are attitudes that every Muslim must have. Muslims must be patient when encountering difficulties and be grateful for the blessings they receive.
This was highlighted at the weekly Munajat on Saturday night by accredited religious preacher of Brunei Islamic Religious Council, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Ahmad Ahyad bin Haji Amynoor from Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Jangsak.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman attended the event.
Adviser of Kampong Perpindahan Serasa Mosque takmir committee Pehin Dato Pekerma Jaya Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah led the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
Mosque takmir committee members from Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Kampong Perpindahan Serasa Mosque, Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque as well as students and staff from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Mechanical Campus in Kampong Tungku also participated.
Also joining were congregants from over 100 mosques, suraus and religious halls as well as workforce and family of the MoRA. The reading of Surah Yaasiin was led by ISQ student in Rigging (Oil and Gas) Raziq Qayyum bin Ruzaimi, along with staff and students of the IBTE Mechanical Campus.
Doa Munajat was read by Special Grade Syariah Legal Officer at the Religious Enforcement Division of the MoRA Haji Zuneidy bin Jumat.
Zikir Taubat was read by Founder of Al-Busyra Group Haji Mohammad Ali Wafiuddin bin Haji Osman, and the group members.
Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was led by Mosque Affairs Officer at Kampong Perpindahan Serasa Mosque Haji Muhammad Nurhidayatullah bin Haji Zulkiflee.
