The Acting Assistant of the Islamic Da’wah Centre at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman highlighted Doa Kanzul ‘Arasy or ‘the Treasures of Heaven’ during a talk at the weekly Munajat at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Kiarong on Saturday.
The Munajat held for the 105th time was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) with the cooperation of the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Defence.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah were present.
The event began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi, followed by Doa Kanzul ‘Arasy by Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque Officer Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhuddin.
There was also a recitation of Doa Munajat by Assistant State Mufti (Buhuth) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof.
The Munajat night was highlighted by Dikir Asyraqal by officers and teachers of the Islamic Studies Department at the MoRA.
Also present were Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan as well as permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, senior officers from ministries and departments, and mosque takmir committees and congregants. – Azlan Othman
