A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was organised by Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque congregants yesterday to intensify the reading of Al-Quran.
The event was also conducted to meet the target of completing the recitation of Al-Quran once a month.
Village Head of Kampong Sungai Besar, Kampong Serdang and Sungai Belukut Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Haji Awang Zaini bin Haji Awang Damit was present.
The event also saw the recitation of Al-Fatihah and Ayat-Ayat Lazim, followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and Doa Selamat. – Azlan Othman
