Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) and its departments, joined in holding a Dikir Maulud in commemorating the Maulidur Rasul, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on Saturday evening.
Permanent Secretary (Municipal and District), MoHA, Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan as the guest of honour at the event held at Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Silver Jubilee Mosque in Kampung Jangsak.
The religious event aimed at glorifying major celebrations in the Islamic calendar and further enliven the Maulidur Rasul celebration as well as encourage MoHA members to continuously recite the Selawat and praise the Prophet.
Also in attendance were members of the Legislative Council (LegCo), Penghulus and Village Heads in the Brunei Muara District, department Heads, senior officers, officers and staff at the ministry and its departments. – LYNA MOHAMMAD
