The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) held a jogathon where Team MoFE was named the overall winner.
The event which started at the ministry premises was divided into a 4.8-kilometre (km) competitive run, a 2.6km platinum run and a 2.6km fun run. The jogathon, organised by the Brunei Investment Agency under MoFE yesterday, aimed to highlight mental and physical health through sports, as well as to contribute to the Ministry of Health’s initiative of BN on the Move on the BruHealth app.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah joined the event.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, acting permanent secretary, Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) managing director, directors, heads of departments and divisions, and officers and staff of the ministry and BDCB were also present. – James Kon
