Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman presented the medals at a ceremony at Serambi Suluh, Tarindak d’Seni in the capital yesterday.
The PKL is a recognition and appreciation from the Government of His Majesty, in addition to commemorating the medal recipients’ services. It also serves as a motivation and an injection of enthusiasm for staff and officers at MoRA to further improve the quality and productivity of work.
Among the criteria for the recipients of PKL includes completing 20 years of service, a good service record, have commendable qualities and personalities and have a performance rating evaluated very well in recent years.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh, as well as officers and staff at the MoRA were present.
