“Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) which has achieved positive development and successfully passing three decades of its establishment, will continuously make creative, innovative procedures as well as productive changes in driving its future progress and changes,” Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof said.
He made this comments as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB during an appreciation and annual dinner to mark the 31st anniversary of its establishment that was held at Indera Samudra Hall, The Empire Brunei on Saturday.
The minister added that all these are in line with the needs of Perbadanan TAIB customers who always demand excellent and quality services.
According to the minister, various efforts and initiatives have been carried out to meet the goal.
Those that are being implemented are the improvement of processes and governance, improving customer experience, development of financing portfolio as well as active efforts in attracting new customers. The minister also highlighted Perbadanan TAIB’s achievements such as the launch of the debit card, the upgrading of TAIB’s core banking system and the implementation of the anti-money laundering system successfully implemented despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also mentioned the newly revived mission and vision of Perbadanan TAIB aimed to serve and provide direction for TAIB’s employees in line with TAIB’s strategic goal.
