Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari sent a message to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of His Majesty’s 78th birthday celebration.
The president said, “Your Majesty, I would like to convey my heartfelt felicitations on the auspicious occasion of Your Majesty’s 78th birthday.
“As Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam celebrate this year the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations, Pakistan is keen to further expand and deepen our longstanding cordial relations for mutual benefit of our two peoples.
“I avail myself of this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Majesty’s long life, good health and happiness as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Brunei Darussalam.
“Please accept, Your Majesty, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
