The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) hosted a dinner reception recently to welcome the representatives of the Secretariat of the Southeast Asian Literature Council (Mastera) member countries.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Dr Siti Norkhalbi bin Haji Wahsalfelah attended the event at Sedaap Restaurant, D’Anggerek Services Apartment in Berakas.
DBP’s Acting Director Hajah Haireni binti Haji Damit, along with senior officers of DBP, experts and Mastera members were also present.
The DBP, as the Secretariat for Mastera Brunei Darussalam, was selected as the host country for the two-day Mastera meeting and Musyawarah Mastera 2024 on May 20-21 at J Hotel in Kampong Kiulap. – Rokiah Mahmud
