A Malaysian national denied using a counterfeit BND10,000 note and claimed trial yesterday.
Mohd Dzulkefi bin Abdul Hanip, 65, was charged with attempting to use eight pieces of BND10,000 notes at the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank on March 18.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Pengiran Hajah Nor ‘Azmeena binti Pengiran Haji Mahiddin levelled the charges while lawyer Ahmad Basuni Abbas represented the defendant.
Judge Radin Safiee bin Radin Mas Basiuni heard the case, before adjourning to April 18 for trial dates to be fixed. – Fadley Faisal
