Lucky three walk away with BND10,000

Lucky customers Mohd Baddruzzaman bin Awang Norzaman, Nur Sabrina binti Abdul Hamid and Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof each walked away with BND10,000 cash prizes after their names were drawn as the first prize winners of Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd (IITH) ‘Hadiah Wang Tunai sehingga BND250,000’ promotional campaign for June and July.

Speaking to the Weekend Bulletin, Nur Sabrina from RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau expressing gratitude to Allah the Almighty said it was really unexpected.

She plans to share the gift with her family members.

Nur Sabrina, who bought a car insurance, said she recited the Selawat from the moment she stepped out of her house until it was her turn to choose the envelope.

Thanking Insurans Islam TAIB for the promotion, she called on the public to get their Takaful products “as you never know when your lucky stars are shining on you”.

Meanwhile, Alween, representing his father Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mazanan, said when he informed his father – who was not able to attend – also expressed gratitude to Allah the Almighty for the rezeki.

He said his family will hold a Doa Selamat ceremony and his father may give alms from the winnings.

“First and foremost, Syukur Alhamdulillah for this gift and thank you Insurans Islam TAIB for giving my father the opportunity to participate.

“I believe events like these also raise awareness on the Takaful products,“ Alween said.

The second prize of BND2,500 were won by Mohammad Isa bin Haji Siau for June and Nooradin bin Haji Yaakob for July.

Meanwhile the BND1,000 winners for June were Masdinah binti Haji Misir, Hajah Bismi Noramalina Qanitah binti Haji Yusop @ Haji Mohd Yussof and Goh Sik Thuan. The July winners for the BND1,000 cash prize were Hajah Kasmiah binti Haji Tengah, Lim Thing Bee and Muhammad Ahmad Firdaus bin Khalid.

Two winners were drawn for June and one for July at the prize presentation ceremony at the atrium of The Mall, Gadong, which coincided with the launching of IITH’s mobile app for Kembara Takaful.

Acting Chairman Board of Directors of IITH Hajah Norliah binti Haji Kula presented the prizes to the winners and launched Kembara Takaful.

Also present was Acting Managing Director of IITH Haji Mohd Yusreza bin Haji Mohd Yussin, as well as IITH board members Dr Norfarizal bin Othman and Shamsul Bahri bin Haji Kamis.

The campaign offers customers purchasing any Takaful products above BND45 a chance to win BND10,000 and other cash prizes every month until January 2023.

IITH also revamped their mobile app through which quotations can be requested, enabling the public to participate in Kembara Takaful through IITH mobile app, which provides coverage for travel by air, land and sea.
