Five students from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s (UNISSA) Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Faculty of Law represented the university and Brunei in the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court in Washington DC, the United States.
The delegation comprises Aziezul Safwan bin Zakaria, Ahmad Muqri bin Marhain, Nurul Iffah binti Haji Puasa, Amyra Shaira binti Suherdy and Abdul Hakim bin Iskandar.
Awangku Muhd Syair Aminy bin Pengiran Sharel Annuar as coach and Umi Atul Nur Hazzieqah Aziq binti Ali Hassan as coordinator accompanied the delegation.
The team was chosen via competition conducted by the UNISSA Mooting Club to represent the university in its first participation of the competition.
The competition is the largest of its kind with participation from over 100 countries. – Rokiah Mahmud
