RTBGo is now accessible as an Android TV app following a launch at Radio Television Brunei (RTB) Mini Media Carnival at The Mall in Gadong yesterday.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, the guest of honour, launched the app and the carnival organised in conjunction with Brunei December Festival.

RTB Acting Director Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli said the carnival was aimed at building closer ties between the public and RTB personnel. It also promotes the national broadcaster’s programmes as well as allows the public to meet television and radio personalities.

Pengiran Haji Ismail said the new app enables viewers to watch and listen to programmes without the need for cables and antennas.

The guest of honour toured the exhibition booths after the launch. The event also features activities including quizzes, games, TikTok challenges, performances, talks and spelling contests.

The carnival ending tomorrow is from 10am to 10pm. – James Kon
