Progresif was announced the winner for ‘Best Payments Initiative’ for Progresif CARE+ mobile application by Asia Communication Awards (ACA) 2022 during a virtual ceremony from Singapore on December 14.
The ceremony revealed winners from 19 categories. There were over 100 leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies from across Asia including the leading service providers, carriers, operators, technology manufacturers and solution vendors competing for awards across 19 categories.
Progresif CARE was launched in April 2018 to provide seamless efficient transaction and method of payment for customers.
“Winning the ‘Best Payments Initiative’ award by Asia Communications Award 2022 was an honour for us, because it meant that our hard work the past months is internationally recognised. The transformation of CARE+ comes from the feedback and suggestions given by customers and we are thankful for their support throughout the years,” said Progresif Sdn Bhd CEO Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar.
Meanwhile, Progresif Chief Commercial and Digital Officer Adi Iskandar Haji Basri said, “This is a proud moment, not only for Progresif but Brunei as a nation because the creative work towards designing the user experience and software engineering on developing the system powering the CARE+ app were done by Progresif’s own team of local talents.”
