Local talents shine

Nur Qistina Adriana binti Mohammad Yusirwan, known as Qistina Yus, emerged as the champion of the Bintang Harmoni 2024 finals held at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre on Saturday night.

Organised by Radio Television Brunei (RTB), the competition awarded Qistina Yus with the top prize of BND2,000, along with a trophy and a certificate.

Abdul Wafi bin Ismail known as Pipo Ismail placed second, received BND1,500, a trophy and a certificate, while Nurul Syuhada binti Mustapha or Nurul Mustapha, was placed third and won BND1,000, a trophy and a certificate.

Seven other finalists received BND500 consolation prizes with an additional best performance award granting a BND300 cash prize and a certificate.

The event, part of RTB’s initiative to promote local talent, provided a prominent platform for Bruneian artists.

Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Ajman bin Haji Meludin presented the prizes to the winners.

RTB Acting Director Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli and senior officials were also present. – Fadley Faisal
