Local content creators shine at festival

Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) Chief Executive Ir Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar officiated the Brunei Content Festival (BCF) 2024 Screening and Exhibition at The Mall’s atrium yesterday.

Industry Development Group Acting Assistant Chief Executive Siti Zaraura binti Haji Mohammad said the event’s objective was to encourage the production of high-quality content.

The three-day event, which ends tomorrow, welcomes the public to enjoy special screenings of BCF 2024 Awards submissions across various categories: Best Feature Film; Best Short Film; Best Advertisement; Best Public Service Announcement; Best Music Video; Best Drama; Best Horror; Best Comedy; Best Documentary; and Best Short Film under the institute of higher learning (IHL).

The opening day featured presentations from Community Development Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Radio Television Brunei; Royal Brunei Police Force; and Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia.
