A local company was recently issued a BND3,000 compound fine by the Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) for putting up advertisement displays without permission.
The company had been ordered to dismantle the advertisements immediately and settle the fine within 14 days.
ABCi also reminded advertising companies registered under the Ministry of Development to obtain approval from the ABCi before putting up advertisement signage or billboards.
The public is also advised to comply with the regulations and guidelines for the safety and well-being of the people and safeguard property.
