Lions Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB), together with Maya Silk Emporium and Sunil Emporium, donated curtains and a 55-inch television to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kuala Belait yesterday.
Leading the group was Secretary of Lions Club of BSB and Managing Director of Sunil Emporium Sunil Ramchandani, who was accompanied by Maya Silk Emporium Managing Director and Lions Club of BSB member Maya Sunil Ramchandani.
Sunil said the television will serve to support Pusat Ehsan’s initiative to integrate technology into its curriculum.
Meanwhile, the association, in collaboration with BUGTAW and Sunil Emporium, donated bookshelves, children’s books and curtains to Bakti Dewa School library in the Tutong District on Wednesday.
BUGTAW co-founders Shanna and Sienna Holmes also read a storybook to kindergarten students to cultivate the habit of reading.
